January & February Empties
March 19, 2018
I've seen so many people complain that January was so long and though, but for be it seriously just flew by, and the same with February. I had meant to separate my empties for January and February, but here I am in the end of February and I still haven't got my January empties up, so I guess it will be two posts in one (again).
These months I've used up a few samples that I got in my LookFantastic advent calendar, and as usual some skin care and makeup. Some of these products I've been trying to use up as well, because I've had them for so long, you see both the Batiste dry shampoo and the Ole Henriksen scrub is in the old packaging, so it was about time to use them up.
The products I've finished these months:
- Lancer The Method: Polish. This one I got in my LookFantastic advent calendar. It is a face scrub with a lot of grains, and it ha this kind of minty feeling on the skin. I couldn't really decide what I thought about it, but I guess it was ok.
- Maybelline FITme Concealer. This concealer is a staple in my makeup routine, I always use it either under my eyes or on blemishes. It covers so well without being to heavy.
- Korres Showergel Guava. This one I've talked so much about now, that I'll just link to one of my other empties so you can read what I think about it there.
- L'oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water. This one I bought last summer, but I didn't open it until October or something. It is a nice moisturizer, it hydrates my skin without being too heavy for my oily complexion. I really enjoyed the scent of this, but after a while it became a little too much. probably won't repurchase.
- NYX Micro Brow Pencil. Love this brow pencil, it is definetly on eof my favorites. It has the perfect consistency. it is not too hard or too soft. It stays put on my brows all day, and the color taupe is a perfect match for me.
- Clarins Everlasting Foundation +. This foundation is one of my all time favorites, it looks so amazing on my skin! It is full coverage, without being heavy or getting cakey. It also last all day without breaking up. I absolutely love it!
- L'oreal Paradise Extatic Mascara. My absolute favorite at the moment. It gives my lashes a good amount of both volume and length, without clumping.
- Batiste Dry Shampoo Original. Love all of these dry shampoos, can't be without them, use dry shampoo every week, so the Batiste ones are perfect for my student budget.
- Filorga Time-Filler Eye Creme. This one I also got in my LookFantastic advent calendar. It actually surprised me, I didn't think I would like it, but it was amazing. It gave my under eyes so much hydration and the texture of it was perfect. I would actually consider buying this.
- Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder. What can I say about this? I use it every single day, the perfect mattifying powder. Love it!
- Ciaté Wonderwand Mascara. Another sample I got in the LookFantastic advent calendar. This one I also enjoyed a lot. It actually reminded me of the L'oreal Paradise mascara, both the wand and the formula. Gave me a lot of volume and length. Would repurchase.
- Ole Henriksen Walut Complexion Scrub. My all time favorite! Will always repurchase this. It is the perfect face scrub. It makes my skin feel so clean and smooth.
- Ole Henriksen So Nurturing Cleansing Cloths. These makeup remover cloths I really do enjoy, they remove my makeup and doesn't make my skin feel dry or irritated. I usually use these for those days when I'm too lazy to wash of my makeup properly.
- Erborian Bamboo Matte Lotion. This toner you guys, there is nothing like this! I absolutely love it, it works so well with my skin. I'll link the post where I wrote about it, if you want to read more in depth.
- Lee Stafford Hair Growth Scalp Scrub. This one I kind of liked, but I didn't think that there were enough grains in it, it didn't scrub my scalp good enough I think. So I just used it up to use it up.
- Balanceme Flash Cleanse Micellar Water. The last one of the products I've used up these past couple of months, this one I also got in my LookFantastic advent calendar. This is a natural micellar water, and it was alright. I didn't actually love it because I thought the smell of it was a little strong, and it stinged my eyes.

I love reading about other peoples empties, love seeing what other people are using regularly!
ReplyDeleteHaha me too!
DeleteWould you recommend the Ciate Wonderwand over Maybelline Total Temptation mascara? Looking for something that is quite volumising (without being clumpy) and both your reviews sounded good!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! <3
DeleteYes, I would probably buy the Ciate one over the Maybelline one. The Ciate Wonderwand gave me much more volume than the Maybelline Total Temptation, and it also held up much better during the day, in addition to being easier to remove!
Hope this helps you a little! xoxo All That Beauty
