2017 Makeup Favorites

Happy new year everyone!
I cant belive we are in 2018! This past year has gone by so fast, and so much have happened; I moved, my boyfriend moved in with me, we went to festivals, conserts, hung out with our friends, I started on my last year on my bachelors degree, and I've tried so much new makeup and skincare.
There are many influencers that are posting this kind of post these days, and I just love reading what other people have descovered this past year, and why these particular products has become their favorites. So I decided to make this post with my favorite products of 2017. In this post I will only include my makeup favorites, and then I'll make another post with my skincare favorites.
Makeup favorites:
Make Up For Ever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Mattifying Primer. My all time favorite primer for my combination/oily t-sone. It is the only product that controls my oils all day and keeps my makeup in place. I will always buy this, it is amazing!
Clarins Everlasting Foundation. This foundation is my all time favorite, it works so well with my skin, keeps my oils controlled, stays put all day, and doesn't break up during the day. I especially use this when I need my makeup to stay put for the entire day, or when I'm going to an event or something.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer. This concealer is the perfect lightweight concealer for everyday, it covers everything I want to cover without beeing too much. It never gets cakey, and it stays on my face the entire day.
Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder. My all time favorite drugstore powder, it is a must have in my collection. It is the only drugstore powder that will keep my T-sone matte all day, I love this.
Jan Thomas Studio Cosmetics Bronzer in Malibu Sunset. This bronzer is from a Norwegian brand, and I must say I'm so happy that Norwegian brands also makes something that really works. This bronzer has the perfect color for my skin tone, it is not too orange or gray. The powder is perfect, it blends so nice over my other products and never break apart any of my other makeup.
Mac Powder Blush in Burnt Pepper. This blush has the perfect burnt-red color, and it looks so good on the skin. It just looks like I've been outside, and it is so natural.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Champagne Pop. This is a cult classic, and I understand why. This highlighter has the perfect texture, the perfect color for my skin tone, and it can be both subtle and you could built it up to a blinding highlight.
Nyx Micro Brow Pencil in Taupe. This brow pencil has the perfect consistency, it is not too hard or to wet. It applies beautifully, and it has the perfect little tip so you can draw on small hairs if you want. The color Taupe is also a perfect match with my brows and my hair. Love this.
Jan Thomas Studio Cosmetics Eye Brow Gel in Transparent. This brow gel is amazing, it keeps my brows in place all day, without feeling stiff and weird. Love this, and highly recommend it.
Loreal Paradise Extatic Mascara. This mascara is the bomb, I'm sure most of you have tried this by now and then you know that this is amazing. It gives my lashes a lot of volume and length, and it never clumps. I always have a backup of this.
Illamasqua lipstick in Lava Lips. This lipstick is my perfect winter shade. It is the perfect subtle red, and the formula is not to drying, but it still isn't so moisturizing that it disappears. I've used this lipstick almost every day since I got it.
MAC Lipstick in Crosswires. This is my ultimate summer lip color, I love this. It is the perfect amount of pink and coral, and there is a little bit of shimmer in it. TheBalm Nude Beach Palette. I got this eyeshadow palette for my birthday this year, and since then its almost the only eyeshadow palette I've used. It has the perfect mix of warm and cool tones, and the shades fit my skin tone so well. The colors are so easy to blend, and stays put all day.
